WaterAid East Africa Regional Strategy 2019-2023

Download – WaterAid East Africa Regional Strategy 2019-2023

Title: WaterAid East Africa Regional Strategy 2019-2023

In the East Africa Region, WaterAid is the only organization that focuses exclusively on Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), and has an explicit ambition to reach the most vulnerable and excluded people.

This document is the first regional strategy of WaterAid in East Africa, and it is poised to influence support accross the region and beyond to make clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone, everywher in the region. This strategy will use experience and lessons from Country programmes to bring about change in policy and practice at the regional level. It will also foster cross-learning among WaterAid country programmes and non-WaterAid countries within the region and beyond. In developing the strategy, a number of internal processes and consultations were undertaken, complemented by a political economy analysis at the regional level.
