In 2021, we will be witness to the implementation of smart, autonomous processes in drinking water and wastewater treatment plants, based on the variables in each type of facility. In turn, sensors will play a key role in improving performance in the quest to minimize the effort, time and money currently spent looking for leaks. Globally, remote control of all processes will continue to be a priority, from infrastructure operation to the management of work orders for field operators. And finally, in the field of communications, 5G will be decisive in 2021.
